Originally constructed in 1928 by Herbert Strong, this comprehensive renovation updated the historic layout to a par-71 layout. The project was completed on time and budget in 2020. Fourteen acres of coquina screenings replaced rough grasses, resulting in a 12 percent reduction in maintained turf, driving considerable savings on water and labor inputs.
Weed and Graziani spearheaded the design and implementation of a new event lawn that flows into the teeing grounds on the first hole. The result added a new outdoor venue for the resort and increased revenue generating opportunities.
